For this week’s Verizon Galaxy Note 3 ROM of the week, check out the latest Jasmine ROM by XDA user Hsbadr. The last time we checked it out it was a really cool ROM but I did encounter some battery problems as it was draining battery much faster than normal.

If you are in town for Android 5.0 Lollipop ROM today, not when Samsung updates their software, grab the latest CM12 ROM beta by XDA user Temasek, available for T-Mobile Note 3 SM-N900T, SM-N9005, Canadian SM-N900W8, and Sprint SM-N900P.
This is a “beta” version which has pretty much everything working except video recording and NFC. I have been testing it as daily driver for last couple days and have to say the battery life and performance is excellent.
For those of you looking for a good AOSP custom ROM with latest Android 4.4.4 and endless number of customization options, look nowhere than Gummy ROM. This has been one of my favorite custom ROMs of all time and it’s back with the latest Android 4.4.4 along with “M3” stable release, meaning you will be able to enjoy stable and fast Android 4.4.4.

Based on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat TouchWiz firmware, Tweaked ROM brings you lots of cool “tweaks” including a Material L theme that’s going to get your Note 3 as close to the latest Android L Preview as much as possible. You can install this ROM on T-Mobile, Canadian, or SM-N9005 models.

This is a “real” S5 ROM, ported from a Galaxy S5 to the AT&T Note 3, with pretty much every feature of the S5 working (except ones that require S5 sensor) including Download Booster.
For this week’s Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 ROM of the Week, check out TR ROM by XDA user Murat25750.
Based on latest Android 4.4.2 TouchWiz firmware, TR ROM brings you lots of goodies like quad multi-window, modded Galaxy S5 launcher (with support for multiple themes), great battery life, and AROMA graphical installer so you can choose exactly which apps/features you want on your phone. Quad Multi-window also supports multiple instances of the stock browser (normally it’s not supported) so you can open 4 different sites with the same browser.
For those of you looking to experience OnePlus One on your Note 3, did you know you can install CM11 ROM plus HighOnAndroid OnePlus One Conversion Kit?
To do this, you can use the latest CM11 ROM Snapshot M8 (which is the latest stable release available) along with the Conversion Kit. With it, you will get goodies like OnePlus One camera, Hexo theme, Screencast (records screen along with your voice), AudioFX app (sorta like Viper4Android), and some more. The only thing not working is screen-off gestures, which isn’t too big of a deal.
The other day, I was upgrading my Verizon Note 3 to the latest Biggins ROM and tried rebooting into SafeStrap Recovery using SafeStrap app.
Well, the worst thing I imagined happened, my phone kept trying to reboot into stock recovery over and over again until the battery on my phone drained.
