Download KitKat SafeStrap (Get the latest version with KK in the filename)
Step 2. Reboot into SafeStrap then choose “Boot Options”.
Step 3. Make sure “Stock ROM” is highlighted.
Step 4. Next choose “Wipe” from main menu and do a factory reset.
Step 5. Next, choose “Install” then find the stock ROM you downloaded earlier.
Step 6. Install the ROM zip file.
Step 7. When the rooted stock ROM installation is complete, choose “Reboot” from main menu.
Step 8. Choose “Download”, this will reboot you into ODIN download mode.
Step 9. Next connect a micro-USB 2.0 cable from your phone to your computer.
Step 10. Download ODIN and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat bootloader then unzip, you should get a folder called Odin3v185 and file ending in “tar.md5”.
Step 11. Run ODIN, DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE but hit the “PDA” button and choose the Android 4.4.2 bootloader “tar.md5” file you unzipped in Step 10. Then hit the “Start” button. This will flash KitKat bootloader and latest modem. Your Verizon Note 3 should reboot when successfully done.
Step 12. Give it couple minutes for your Verizon Note 3 to boot.
