For this week’s T-Mobile and Canadian Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T/SM-N900W8 ROM of the week, do check out Wicked ROM.
Based on latest T-Mobile official firmware, Wicked ROM supports Wifi Calling (of course) and native wifi tethering out of the box. To get wifi tether working fully, you will need to add an extra APN in APN Settings, just make additional APN with “fast.t-mobile.com” and everything else empty. If you have trouble, see our video above as it shows you.
Wicked ROM also comes Knox-free, meaning you won’t have to deal with annoying Knox notifications. Other notable features include Wanam Xposed app for tweaking UI/system, extended power menu, modified TouchWiz launcher (much faster over stock), Viper4Android audio MOD, Pen Window Manager, Multi-Window Manager, AdAway app, and more.
For camera, Wicked ROM gives you the ability to add Android 4.3 PhotoSphere, Moto X, and even Focal camera alongside the stock Note 3 camera.
Overall, Wicked ROM is onto a “wicked” start for sure, looking like a great packaged custom ROM for noobs and seasoned flasholic veterans. So, definitely give it a try over the week(end) and tell me how wicked this ROM is!

What is a Custom ROM?
A custom ROM is a custom, modified operating system that you can install on your Android device. Basically it's like installing Windows OS on a Macbook. By installing a custom ROM, you can bypass stock factory settings like locked hotspot tether, install new Android versions early, or even convert your phone into another OS.
With a custom ROM, you can really maximize the capabilities of your smartphone by adding custom features that have been developed by open source developers.
How to Install Custom ROMs
First, you will need to root your device, if it is not rooted yet, follow our root tutorial and root your phone.
Once rooted, you should have TWRP installed on your phone. Installation of a custom ROM is easy if you learn the basic of it. If you don't know how to install custom ROMs using TWRP recovery, see our tutorial on How to Install Custom ROM using TWRP!
