If you want to keep your root and have cool features like unlocked hotspot/call recording, you may want to install the latest Jasmine Lollipop ROM. For those of you coming from KitKat ROM with root, this is the best route so you don’t lose root permanently along with your unlocked WiFi hotspot.
For those of you on rooted T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 and want to upgrade to latest OTA, you can either re-install stock recovery and take OTA or unroot.
OR, a better way is to simply install rooted stock ROM version of the stock firmware, which comes with root, KNOX-free, and Carrier IQ Free.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat TouchWiz firmware just came out couple days ago. For those of you unrooted with stock firmware, you probably received it via OTA (Over-The-Air). Well, that can be a good thing that you got the update, but did you know there’s no known root method on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Verizon Note 3?
