Dynamic Kat Xtreme ROM for AT&T Galaxy Note 3!

For this week’s AT&T Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900A, check out Dynamic Kat Xtreme ROM.

Based on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat leaked Samsung firmware, Dyanmic Kat Xtreme ROM wants to give AT&T Note 3 users AOSP experience. (What is AOSP?)  While AOSP custom ROMs currently cannot be installed on the AT&T Note 3 due to locked bootloader, Dynamic Kat Xtreme ROM may just fill your hunger for running AOSP.

Although Dynamic Kat Xtreme ROM is built on Samsung TouchWiz firmware, most of the TouchWiz have been removed, even S-Pen apps, multi-window, and Samsung features like Smart Stay have been removed.  Of course, this isn’t a custom ROM for everyone but for those of you who must have pure Google OS on your AT&T Note 3.

Some notable features on the Dynamic Kat Xtreme ROM feature full 100% Android 4.4.2 KitKat launcher, latest AOSP camera with Photosphere, Panorama, Lens Blur, AOSP MMS, and complete debloat of everything else.

It’s actually a rather simple ROM so there’s no bugs and nothing that can really go wrong.  And yes, WiFi tethering is unlocked out of the box so you can tether all you want.

Overall, you can expect some really long battery life on this ROM along with great speed as there’s nothing to waste the battery nor slow it down.  If you have been looking to switch to AOSP and you couldn’t, definitely check this ROM out, I think you will like it!

Before installing, you must have the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat bootloaders installed, if you’ve never installed a KitKat TouchWiz ROM, I highly suggest you to install KnoxRaid ROM first, which will make you install the KitKat bootloader.

If you have installed KnoxRaid ROM before, then you simply need to use the latest version of Safestrap to install this ROM.

To install, reboot into Safestrap recovery, make backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, and reboot.  No Gapps required.
