The S5 Experience ROM for AT&T Galaxy Note 3!

For this week’s AT&T Galaxy Note 3 ROM of the Week, check out “The S5 Experience” ROM.

Based on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, The S5 Experience ROM brings you exactly what its name implies, bringing you everything that can be ported to the Note 3 from the S5 including S5 Settings UI, apps, and more.

Now, before we begin getting into the S5 features, let me point out that this ROM does have everything else in order, the ROM itself is much quicker than stock KitKat firmware, give you unlocked native Wifi Tether Hotspot out of the box, and comes with bloatware removed.  Aside from the S5 stuff, I was actually impressed with performance and battery life on The S5 Experience ROM.

Now, getting into the S5 stuff, The S5 Experience ROM comes with a modded S5 launcher with shortcuts for both Swipe-Up and Swipe-Left, which you can easily choose your favorite apps to launch.  The launcher itself boasts plenty of room with its 5×6 app drawer/home screen, which is probably my favorite grid size and will fit almost twice more apps.  The Note 3 screen is HUGE, I have no idea why Samsung doesn’t implement this on stock ROMs but it’s on this ROM to make your life easier.

Other cool S5 features worth noting include latest S5 sounds and apps.  S5 apps include Accuweather widget, Calculator, Gear Fit Manager, Gear Manager, SMS, My Files, S Baro (barometer app), S Note, S Health, S Planner, S Translator, S Voice, Samsung Apps, Scrapbook, Story Album, Videos, and WatchON.

Overall, The S5 Experience is another great ROM especially geared towards those of you who want the most S5 features on your AT&T Note 3.  So if this sounds like your cup of tea, definitely give it a romp this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

Before installing, you must have the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat bootloaders installed, if you’ve never installed a KitKat TouchWiz ROM, I highly suggest you to install KnoxRaid ROM first, which will make you install the KitKat bootloader.

If you have installed KnoxRaid ROM before, then you simply need to use the latest version of Safestrap to install this ROM.

To install, reboot into recovery, make backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, and reboot. I do recommend using your Stock ROM slot for running this ROM so you can take full use of your 32GB internal storage space.  See How to Install ROM on Note 3 using SafeStrap first if this is your first time.

A: Download and Install BuildProp Editor app from Play Store then change the line “ro.securestorage.support” value from “true” to “false” then reboot.   That will fix the wifi issues.
