The S5 Experience ROM for AT&T Galaxy Note 3!

For this week’s AT&T Galaxy Note 3 ROM of the Week, check out “The S5 Experience” ROM.

Based on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, The S5 Experience ROM brings you exactly what its name implies, bringing you everything that can be ported to the Note 3 from the S5 including S5 Settings UI, apps, and more.

Now, before we begin getting into the S5 features, let me point out that this ROM does have everything else in order, the ROM itself is much quicker than stock KitKat firmware, give you unlocked native Wifi Tether Hotspot out of the box, and comes with bloatware removed.  Aside from the S5 stuff, I was actually impressed with performance and battery life on The S5 Experience ROM.

Now, getting into the S5 stuff, The S5 Experience ROM comes with a modded S5 launcher with shortcuts for both Swipe-Up and Swipe-Left, which you can easily choose your favorite apps to launch.  The launcher itself boasts plenty of room with its 5×6 app drawer/home screen, which is probably my favorite grid size and will fit almost twice more apps.  The Note 3 screen is HUGE, I have no idea why Samsung doesn’t implement this on stock ROMs but it’s on this ROM to make your life easier.

I would like to use this Rom but I was forced upon the AT&T OTA update before getting a chance to root. I refused to update twice at work but as soon as I got home and my Note 3 connected to my WIFI, it updated itself without asking and that’s crap because I had planned to root it but now I’m stuck on 4.4.2 KitKat crap! The OTA update made my Note 3 slower , it freezes for a couple of seconds a lot, it installed more crap bloatware like beats music and isis wallet and mobile tv. The only good change I can see from the update which seems to be what AT&T is proud about is the transparent notification bar up top with all white icons now. Great job AT&T slower phone and unresponsive controls, but new transparent bar, months of working on this software it should be called kitcrap. Or could it be done on purpose to push us to buying the new galaxy S5 ????????? Id say yes. I for one will be waiting for a root for sm-900a 4.4.2 build N900AUCUCNC2 and will be installing Dynamic kat extreme rom or s5 expierience rom and will be waiting for the note 4.

I’m on NB4 and have searched forums back and forth on using URDroid to get kitkat, and the link to Knoxraid is down. Should I revert to M19? Thanks…

Will this rom work on my T-Mobile 900T note 3?

I’ve tried to install this rom on my ATT Note 3 900A, rooted and unlocked and I get an error message, basically that the “footer =0” or something like that. It goes away too quickly to get a good read.

    Any ideas?
