Sacs KitKat ROM for Sprint Galaxy Note 3!

For this week’s Sprint Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900P ROM of the week, check out the latest Sacs KitKat ROM.

Based on the latest Sprint Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware, Sacs KitKat ROM aims to bring more functionality/speed to Note 3 users without all the bloatware.

The moment I upgraded my Sprint Galaxy Note 3 to the latest official Sprint KitKat was one of the worst moments in my life having to deal with Sprint bloatware that I did not want and slowed my phone down to a crawl.

Well, if you want to experience the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat but you don’t want to go all-out with customization yet, Sacs ROM might just be perfect for that as it keeps most of the Samsung features (worth keeping) while cuting bloatware (such as Sprint optimizer BS) into oblivion.

You will also be able to experience some of the newer Sammy features from the upcoming Galaxy S5 such as S5 quick settings, UI icons, and wallpapers.

Other notable feature include quick Top-left Home button, Top-right Screen-off button, call recording, and even texting/camera during call (but please do NOT text while driving). Sacs ROM also comes with Hotspot tether 100% working out of the box (so you don’t have to flash any files), and features “quad” multi-window, probably the coolest feature on the ROM.

This room works great and installed smooth. My only problem is I seem to be getting less battery life out of my phone than usual. I used to get a day and half easily now I’m just making it. Any suggestions? I’m using power save

Man this has been one of the toughest roms I’ve tried to flash usually your roms are really easy just downloan add to phone, use twrp and install the rom. Trying to go back to the stock firmware ended up with brick phone but finally got back to stock after searching for hours for the right firmware. Now when I boot phone all of my old apps are on the phone but none of my root things work and root checker shows phone not rooted. Would it be possible to add a how to video for the roms thanks. Just trying to figure out how to add this rom.

Im.the the same boat brotha!….I’ve tried multiple versions of this rom….and not luck just says aborted..unsuccessful flassh

  8. lui says:

Max brotha! Is there any way u can upload a quick video on how to install a few of us users are having trouble…. keep up.the great work man!

Okay folks after fighting with the ROM and listening to the you tube video above it finally clicked. The KEY to what he said in the video is if your rooted already which most of us are, we won’t get the update notification, so what you have to do is 1. flash the stock firmware back to your phone. 2. Once you’ve done that go to system update and then your phone will check for an update and then download that it will update you to droid 4.2.2. 3. once you have done that you will need to like he said flash the latest CWM RCOVERY TO YOUR PHONE, 4. DOWNLOAD THE ROM AND ADD IT TO YOUR SD CARD (YOU CAN KEEP IT ZIPPED) AND LAST STOP BOOT INTO RECOVERY MODE AND FLASH THE ROM . LOL I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFULL IT ONLY TOOK ME 3 DAYS TO FIGURE IT OUT.

Question, do I have LTE with this rom?

  14. Michael W says:

Love the Rom, especially the hot spot working out the box. This is the main reason I root. I’ve got LMT installed and setup my apps but they don’t launch when I select one. Went to XDA, downloaded the latest app and even worked my way backwards and couldn’t get any of them to launch apps. Please help. And yes, I turned LMT on and set it to startup on reboot.
