For this week’s Verizon Galaxy Note 3 ROM of the Week, check out Biggins ROM by XDA user Deuce_biggins!

UPDATE: Please CLICK HERE to see latest version of Biggins ROM INSTEAD OF THIS ONE!!!  THIS IS OLD!!!

Based on latest Verizon Android 4.4.2 NC4 firmware, the latest version of Biggins ROM is pretty awesome as I have been using it as my daily driver for the last 2 weeks.  What I really like is the solid performance and battery life on the ROM.   Your phone will never slow down as Biggins ROM comes with a modded S5 launcher that gives you crazy speeds. S5 launcher also comes with Pull-Up and Pull-Left for setting your favorite shortcuts minus the crappy My Magazine.

Of course, Biggins ROM also comes with its own custom theme, not too flashy but just great enough where you can enjoy your phone more without looking like the guy next to you with a Note 3. You will also find nifty features like all apps enabled for Multi-window/S-Pen Window (no need to use 3rd-party apps and constantly reboot your phone), OG Battery MOD (lots of battery icons to choose from), over 600 fonts, unlocked WiFi Hotspot/tether, and much more.

And yes, you will get a nice extended Power Menu out of the box with Flashlight and Screenshot included, isn’t this what should be on every ROM? For UI customization, you can go ahead and use Wanam Xposed app to tweak to your liking (See tutorial link below in Extra MODs).

Overall, Biggins ROM doesn’t have every possible feature in the world but it does have all the features you’d want in a ROM while keeping everything super-fast with long battery life. If you are looking to try a custom ROM on your Verizon Galaxy Note 3, definitely try this first (as it also is compatible with latest NC4) and I bet you will like it much.

For those of you on NC2 or older build, you can simply use SafeStrap Recovery to install ROM.

For those of you on NC4 build, you can also use SafeStrap Recovery to install ROM but do also install NC2 kernel using ODIN after or before installing ROM, otherwise you will end up in a bootloop.

Note – I don’t recommend using ROM slots anymore, just make a backup ROM of your stock ROM then use Stock ROM Slot as that will allow you to make 100% use of your internal storage.
